On October 23rd, "Où va ce monde?" (Where is this world going?), the album by Asha D accompanied by the Artikal Band, will be released: six reggae roots tracks sung in French, performed live, and their six dub versions.

Solidarity-driven lyrics, informed by thirty years of performing (Rototom, Summerjam, more than 370 concerts).

« Où va ce monde ? » is a project structured like a journey in six chapters. Six tracks, six dubs, one path, one question.

Asha D

A talented and hyperactive jack-of-all-trades, Asha D is known as the drummer for the Artikal Band (which accompanies Yaniss Odua on stage, among others).
He is also a producer (he creates dozens of riddims a year, which he uploads to his website https://riddiminstrumental.com/, and produced, among others, Mark Cupidore's latest album) and even a singer. While he occasionally sings when Yaniss hands him the microphone on stage, his voice was more fully showcased on his EP, The Pressure, released last June. Asha D is releasing "Où va ce monde?" (Where is this world going?) on October 23rd, featuring six original tracks and six dub versions. This was the perfect opportunity to discuss his three roles and his relationship with his instrument of choice.
